Eye of Ra Photography is the creative outlet of photographer Katie McCarley, a 2008 graduate of the New York Institute of Photography. Katie is known mostly for her nature themed photography and photojournalism of political protests. Many of her photos have been previously published on the web at Independent Media (indymedia.org) and Deviant Art (deviantart.com), where she received peer-reviewed recognition of her protest/political inspired photojournalism. Katie currently lives in Friendswood, Texas with her boyfriend of 8 years and their two cats.
